SanDisk Sansa Fuze 8 GB Video MP3 Player (Black)In association with Amazon.comRating: -
Love it. Don't forget to power down (it charges in an ON state) after a charge or it stays on and you don't know it, until it is dead when you go to use it next time.
Love the SD card feature too.

I know this is not all about what I need, but I had to say that because you could spend 3 to 4 times as much on a player that has fancy apps and super video with arcade quality games, but really, if you're not 14 years old, and you have a job/family/generally do things with your time, why waste money on things you don't need or have no time to use? This little player does everything I want it to do, and with an 8gb expansion card, all for $75 USD, this was a no-brainer. There's little price difference between the 2/4/8 gb players, so I suggest going for the 8, you will need it later, trust me. The displays are easy to navigate when you get used to them, again, this is a MEDIA PLAYER, all you need is music and a bit of video (which isn't bad by the way, on a 1.9" screen it's not too practical, but I don't care too much for that anyway). Dragging and dropping are a breeze, I deducted a star because Windows explorer does freeze at times if you are too aggressive with your clicking, but that will be a minor issue. Sound quality is excellent, the supplied earbuds aren't so bad, but I generally use larger headphones anyway, so this again is not a major selling point for me. The silicone rubber case is really a good idea, as are screen protectors.
Like I said before, if you travel/wait a lot and need applications and other stuff to keep you occupied, this is not for you. If you're looking for a great music player for an even better price, get this one.

I got this mp3 player to mainly use in my car for long drives and commuting. It works great the only issue i ran into is that when it is plugged into the car charger i get some static, the static is reduced if i turn the volume on the player to max to where you only hear the static in the quieter parts of songs, when the player is not plugged in there is not static. Other than that minor detail there have been no other issues with the product. The ability to use a micro SD card is also very useful, for i have already filled up the internal memory. It is awesome.

Audio quality = 9 out of 10
Design = 8 out of 10
Build = 6 out of 10 (the body/paint could be better)
I am really impressed and my Sennheiser, Klipsch earphones sound much better with this player when compared to my iPhone. Probably the Sansa is better in amplifying.
I would definitely recommend.

I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday, and was thrilled how quickly it arrived. I checked it out to make sure I knew how it worked (because he isnt good with technology) and though its different from other mp3 players ive had it seems similar to an Ipod in how it works. It was smaller than i thought it would be, but its cute and a good size and weight. It plugged into my computer easily, charged easily, and though in other reviews it said it takes a long time to load after unplugging from the computer, it didnt take long at all.
