HiSi - Hear It! Save It!
A new song catches your ear on the radio. You love it, but you can't count on getting the song title and artist from the DJ. Rely instead on Neuros and its' HiSi feature. Record a 30 second sample of the mystery song to your Neuros by pressing the orange button. Neuros records directly to MP3 format. Next time you synchronize with your PC, Neuros matches the "digital fingerprint" you've recorded to a proprietary online audio database and provides you with the title and artist of the song. This information is sent directly to your Neuros and is also stored in your Neuros Synchronization Manager PC application. The audio fingerprint technology that enables the HiSi feature is provided by Relatable.
MyFi
Like listening to digital music, but wish it was wireless? Neuros gives you portable digital music without wires using the MyFi feature. MyFi allows you to broadcast the music on your Neuros through any FM radio. Like the one in your car. Or your kitchen. Or your coworker's boombox. MyFi automatically scans the FM radio dial for an available frequency and broadcasts using all digital stereo encoding, just like broadcast towers used by professional radio stations. Roadtrip for hours with your digital tunes and your Neuros.
You can also transmit songs from your Neuros to your friend's using MyFi. Find an open frequency and tell your friend to tune their's to the same. When you press play, the music on your Neuros will play through your friend's. If they like what they hear, they can use Neuros' HiSi feature to capture a sample and identify the song.
Xi
You love sophisticated audio technology, but only when it's easy to use. That's why Neuros created Xi (Extra Information) menus. The customizable Neuros Xi pop-up menus provide shortcuts to functions that automatically integrate your Neuros with your PC and the Internet. They make accessing the features and functions you use most even easier.
Synchronize
Manage all the music stored on your PC right from your Neuros. Create playlists. Delete songs. Get new files. Your entire music library is accessable. When you synchronize with your PC, all your downloads and changes will happen automatically thanks to the Neuros Synchronization Manager. No more getting stuck in front of the PC to make changes. Do it all on the Neuros, synchronize, and get on with it.
Removable Backpack
The Neuros design includes a removable backpack to give you ultimate memory and storage flexibility and freedom to easily stay plugged in to product upgrades. As new technology is released, you will be able to upgrade your Neuros by switching out the backpack.
Today you can immediately upgrade your Neuros 128MB by separately purchasing the 20GB Hard Drive. This lets you easily switch between an ultra portable Flash unit for the gym and a high capacity hard drive for road trips. The 20GB HD backpack is available in Neuros Gear on this site.
FM Radio
Need a break from your digital tunes? Neuros has a built-in FM Radio with five preset buttons so you can play your favorite stations with one click, just like on your car stereo. Neuros' integrated FM radio is digitally enhanced to deliver a clear, superior sound. In FM radio mode, you can also use the HiSi feature to record a song snippet for later identification.
Recording
Hear a program on the radio you want to save for later? Record it to your Neuros. Want to transfer classic albums to MP3? Record them to your Neuros. Want to sample someone's voice on your next mix? Record them to your Neuros. Neuros is able to digitally encode recordings automatically into MP3 format from the FM radio internal microphone or from any device using a line-in connection.
Microphone
Neuros' built-in microphone lets you record your ideas and save them for later. These recordings are saved digitally in an MP3 file format so you can download to your computer, send out to others, or easily archive.
Presets
Arrive safely at your destination by using Neuros' five programmable preset buttons to control your music when you listen in the car. Neuros' preset buttons can be customized to operate as shortcuts to any player function. Set your favorite FM stations, songs, playlists, recordings, even HiSi clips. As soon as you press the preset button your selection will play.
